This project was starting at 2017, it’s a small and high precision prototype tool at the very beginning, the pruchase order is about few thousand dollars. We forgot how many times we tested the tool and how many times that the part need modification. Such as, change the gate location, wall thickness, material hardness, change the part design, change part dimensions and so on. For example the part’s membranere places need the wall thickness only 0.1mm due to the requirement of its function, it has high requirement to the material thickness.
Once, It took two weeks to get few qualified samples, because tearing is easily happening when demoudling the big undercuts. Then material hardness must reach 80A, Ebest tried more than ten different methos. Through using 80A/60A combined material finally solved this issue. Ebest also received extensive help from our customers.
